The school's mission statement underscores our commitment to "an international presence and perspective." We pursue this commitment by enrolling international students, encouraging students to study a foreign language (as well as study abroad), providing opportunities for students to pursue foreign internship opportunities through the Institute for International Journalism, and by encouraging the faculty to work with journalism and communication education programs around the world.
