Fannin (BSJ ’77) speaks on Asian tech

The JSchool and several other campus organizations will be hosting Scripps graduate Rebecca Fannin, columnist for Forbes Magazine and author of the books Silicon Dragon and Startup Asia, at Ohio University’s Baker Theater Monday April 9, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Fannin has travelled all corners of Asia, from China to Indonesia to India, visiting various tech hotspots and meeting the most successful Asian entrepreneurs. Fannin is founder of Silicon Asia. She will speak and respond to questions about her international reporting/entrepreneurial experiences.

Along with the school, the event is hosted by The Center for Entrepreneurship, The Chinese and American Business Organization, OU Media Catalyst and Entrep Leaders.

A reception with snacks, drinks and a raffle will be held 6:00-6:30. Fannin will speak from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
