Ganim speaks about reporting Penn State scandal

The School of Journalism joined a number of groups on campus in hosting Sara Ganim, the reporter who broke the story about Penn State and Jerry Sandusky. [note: Ganim won a Pulitzer Prize today for her reporting]

Molly Yanity, one of our doctoral student and a former sports reporter, organized this event. On her blog she wrote:

While the national media jumped through the hoops of this circus, Sara Ganim served as the master of ceremonies. Ganim first reported on the convening of the grand jury in March — eight months before the findings were released.
