Journalist in Residence returns to campus to teach CAR

Sometimes you turn a negative into a positive. That’s what we did last week when Greg Korte’s bosses at USA Today required him to take a one-week furlough because of a budget crunch.

We hired Greg to spend a week with our students teaching them his computer-assisted reporting skills. On Friday, he sat down with me at the end of his J-in-R week to discuss his classroom (and outside of the class) experiences:
