Scripps students in Leipzig take a punch (at radio)

Listeners to Leipzig University’s student radio station were in for a surprise this morning when they heard more than a dozen Scripps students providing content on “Faustschlag,” the morning magazine program.

According to the mephisto website, the morning program aims to inform and entertain. Topics range from local culture and politics to sports are science.

Scripps College of Communication students are in Leipzig as part of a summer “travel writing” study abroad program. Producing “Faustschlag” was one component of the five-week experience.

Ohio University and the University of Leipzig are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the relationship.
