Information for Teachers/Advisers
You are encouraged to attend the workshop with your students, or even to attend by yourself. The workshop is geared for those with an interest in and passion for journalism, and many advisers have found the sessions helpful to their own instructional programs. In addition, many of the session leaders relish maintaining relationships with classroom educators who are planting the seeds for the next generation of journalists. Workshop sessions include an adviser round-table discussion as well as feedback sessions and the opportunity to interact with faculty and professional journalists.
Adult attendees are welcome to stay in the dorm or to make arrangements at one of the many nearby hotels in Athens, Ohio. For those wishing to stay off-campus, commuter rates apply.
Teachers and advisers who complete the program will receive a certificate of participation.
