California newspaper seeks assistant city editor
One of California’s small daily newspapers, The (San Luis Obispo) Tribune/McClatchy, seeks full time assistant city editor to help lead our award winning newsroom. The 38,000-circulation Tribune is owned by The McClatchy Company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful applicants must have great line-editing skills, great story-development skills and great communication skills, as well as exhibit a sense of urgency in breaking news online and in print and developing enterprise. Quark pagination fluency is a plus. Position includes night and weekend work.
