Positively Cleveland is an independent, nonprofit organization responsible for the marketing and promotion of Cleveland Plus as the destination of choice in the Midwest for leisure and group travel, as well as meetings, conventions and tradeshows. Through these efforts, Positively Cleveland impacts the economic vitality of the area and its employment opportunities.
DESCRIPTION:
-21 hours/week (flexible with hours, some evenings/weekends possible)
-Stipend upon completion of internship
-Internship lasts 3 months – one semester (flexible)Benefits:

-Maintain/update media database
-Prepare press kits
-Maintain clippings/coverage report
-Fulfill media requests for promotional material
-Assist with department FAM (familiarization) trips & organize travel writer itineraries
-Assist with Positively Cleveland special events, as needed
-Assist with the development of hosted media itineraries
Assist with writing and research for website
-Research
-Write press releases and respond to media inquiries
-Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience in communications?related field
-Exceptional organizational skills
-Strong verbal and written communications skills
-Self?motivated and team player attitude
-Familiar with Cleveland and the region
-Familiar with AP Style
-Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and InternetAPPLY:
