San Angelo Standard-Times seeks multimedia journalist
The San Angelo Standard-Times is a Scripps daily newspaper and Internet media outlet that has served San Angelo and west Texas since 1884.
We’re looking for a multimedia journalist (MMJ) with the ability to craft a compelling story in words as well as in pictures. The MMJ is more than a reporter: the MMJ gathers facts as they happen or after the event, and weaves those facts into an accurate and compelling story.
The MMJ is aware of the immediacy of web-first, on-demand journalism and tells these stories on various platforms, including print, online and mobile. The successful MMJ will be capable not only of writing, but of providing still photos or video coverage as circumstances dictate.
