The Dillon Tribune seeks news reporter

  • The Dillon Tribune, one of Montana’s leading weekly newspapers, is seeking the right individual to join its staff as a reporter.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Duties include general assignment reporting, photography, copyediting, computerized newspaper layout and design, and whatever other tasks may be assigned. The reported is expected to help with editorial support for special projects, including (but not limited to) an annual vacation guide, periodic special sections and story assignments for Montana Best Times and other Yellowstone Newspaper projects.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, or the equivalent in education or practical experience, and an open-minded approach to news coverage. Position requires a strong sense of ethics, excellent grammar and punctuation skills, and the ability to communicate well with others.
