The Associated Press seeks a temporary general assignment reporter in its Washington, D.C., bureau to work as part of a team of reporters covering the federal government and politics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibility of this position is general assignment reporting as assigned on a wide range of topics. The position requires a person who is a quick study and versatile at jumping from one assignment to the next. The general assignment reporter also will be responsible for coming up with original story ideas and pursuing them as time permits.
