The Associated Press seeks political reporter
The Associated Press seeks an aggressive reporter with proven investigative skills to cover politics in the West. The reporter will be based in Denver and report to the Rocky Mountain news editor. The successful candidate will break stories on a regular basis through source development, public document requests, computer-assisted reporting and other investigative techniques. The reporter must be able to work across departments and formats. He/she will work with news managers to set the beat’s agenda and develop aggressive spot and hard-edged enterprise reporting for the AP’s global online, newspaper and broadcast audience.
