Lecturer needed at Auburn University
The Department of Communication & Journalism Auburn University, Alabama seeks a Lecturer, Communication & Public Relations. This non-tenure track position is an annually renewable appointment, based on performance and availability of funding, with no limit on duration. The appointment begins August 16, 2012.
The Department of Communication and Journalism at Auburn University invites applicants for a full-time position as Lecturer beginning fall semester 2012. This is a 9-month appointment. Duties include teaching four courses a semester, in COMM 1000 (the basic speech course), other communication courses and public relations courses. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to work in the U.S. at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment. Minimum Qualifications: M.A. in relevant discipline. Evidence of excellent teaching in a basic speech course and other general communication courses. Demonstrated ability to teach public relations courses. Experience in public relations field/jobs desirable
Salary: $33,825 (non-negotiable)
