Experience: As Internet Director, you’ll lead our newsroom to push compelling content on-air, on-line, to mobile and social media platforms for two television stations. You’ll also work with our Sales and Promotion teams to help them engage people with campaigns that excite and intrigue. Our news-oriented kttc.com website is always on and always changing and our myfox47.com website has a completely different personality of its own. Some of our company’s best internet directors have come from news producing ranks, where they’ve been high-performers who thrive on creativity, accuracy and the challenge of the 24/7 news cycle—so we believe experience as a news producer can be helpful.
Requirements: This position requires strong news writing, solid news judgment and creativity. Experience with iNEWS, the WorldNow platform and web-related software are helpful. We expect a passion for learning, creating, leading and growing and we’re ready to help you take the next step.
