  • About the Lab

The ViDS Effects Lab (Veridical Information Detection Systems) is a dedicated research facility for experimental investigations that examine the effects of media presentations. It is equipped with various media delivery systems, including a 50" plasma HDTV with 7.1 channel surround sound, Blu-Ray, DVD, and VCR. Focused on conscious and subconscious responses to media content, the ViDS Lab features multiple state-of-the-art response gauges, including continuous response (aka, perception analysis), psychophysiological response, and implicit attitude measures.
